Membership & Development Coordinator

Based in Eagle River, the Northwoods Land Trust is adding staff capacity and is looking for a half-time Membership & Development Coordinator. The Membership & Development Coordinator needs to be a positive, enthusiastic “people” person and detail-oriented. This position provides both administrative office assistance and professional fundraising support to help successfully manage and achieve the mission of the Northwoods Land Trust. Membership renewals, membership development and other “friend-raising” activities are key position responsibilities.

Land Protection Specialist

The Northwoods Land Trust (NWLT) in the heart of the lake country of northern Wisconsin is adding staff. We are seeking an experienced Land Protection Specialist who will be responsible for stewardship of NWLT’s fee-owned conservation properties, will assist with the annual monitoring of conservation easement properties including coordination of volunteers, will provide technical assistance with preparation of baseline documentation and transactions for new conservation easement and conservation land donations, and will assist with education and public relations activities as well as development of funding for new conservation projects.

West Wisconsin Land Trust and Bayfield Regional Conservancy are in the process of merging and are seeking an Executive Director for the new merged land trust. The Executive Director will report to the board of the new land trust and provide leadership in organizational development, strategic planning and management of financial and operational functions. The position will lead a team of professionals in achieving the goals of the organization.

Minnesota State Director

Responsible for all conservation efforts conducted by The Conservation Fund (TCF) within Minnesota.  Provides leadership for TCF and with partners in Minnesota. Works with internal and external teams to develop and deliver a robust program of land and water conservation. Responsible for developing and implementing the TCF’s conservation and funding programs in Minnesota and ensures outcomes are achieved based on our partners’ priorities; secures public and private financial support for TCF’s operations and our conservation projects. Will serve as the primary TCF spokesperson in Minnesota to internal and external audiences (including staff, public and private donors, government agencies and officials, community leaders and other partners), and cultivates and partners with those audiences to accomplish our partner’s land conservation objectives.  The State Director is responsible for leadership and management of direct reports and for effective coordination and collaboration across TCF’s integrated efforts and teams.
