Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages land trust services, training, and grant opportunities
  • Coordinates collaborative efforts around the state
  • Serves as a land trust representative on agency committees & work groups

Past Jobs & Experience

Meg serves on the advisory council for the Wisconsin Citizen-based Monitoring Network and previously served on the steering committee that launched the international Citizen Science Association in 2014. Before joining Gathering Waters she convened discussions on statewide water and energy issues at the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts, and Letters. In her previous position at the American Museum of Natural History’s Center for Biodiversity and Conservation, Meg led projects in Bolivia, The Bahamas, and British Columbia, among other places. These projects all aimed to promote participation in conservation through partnerships among scientists, educators, and community leaders.
