Land Trust Membership Benefits

Gathering Waters Conservancy helps individuals and communities establish new land trusts, and provides ongoing education and training for established organizations. Our staff work on a regional scale to build the capacity of land trusts, encourage collaboration among land trusts and their conservation partners, and develop conservation plans to accomplish significant conservation action. Member organizations are able to take full advantage of the programs offered by Gathering Waters, including:

• Access to our technical assistance center and its full line of services and programs. GW maintains an extensive library of publications, videos and sample documents available to our members. GW can also provide answers to your land protection questions and refer you to local experts in the area of land conservation or nonprofit management.

• Gathering Waters’ quarterly technical bulletin for land trusts, Currents. This bulletin provides you with timely information critical to the operation and success of your land trust, including grant information, workshop dates and up-to-date conservation news.

• Invitations and discounts to all Gathering Waters’ workshops and conferences. These include workshops on topics like fundraising, board development and site conservation planning as well as statewide land and water conservation conferences.
