Lodging for the 2026 conference will be available at the nearby Courtyard Milwaukee Downtown Hotel. The hotel is within walking distance of the conference venue (about 1 block away). Take advantage of our group rate by booking here. The cutoff date for the room block is Tuesday, February 10.

Conference Sessions

You’ll be able to attend a variety of traditional conference sessions, a field trip, two working breakfasts, and other networking opportunities.

This year, our breakout sessions will cover land protection and stewardship, communications and outreach, advocacy and policy issues, fundraising and development, leadership and strategic planning, and finance and operations.

All sessions will be 90 minutes long in order to ensure there is enough time for interactive activities and Q&A. There are five blocks of sessions throughout the conference, labeled as block A-E in the conference schedule. There will be up to four sessions to choose from in each time block.

Session presenters include experts from Bold BisonBy the Brujas, and the Wisconsin Prescribed Fire Council. Additional information will be added to the conference schedule as sessions are confirmed.

Field Trip

On Wednesday, March 11, join us for a field trip to some of Restoring Lands’ properties in the Milwaukee River Watershed.

Make time for networking and fun! After the field trip on Wednesday, March 11, we’re planning a group dinner at a restaurant in downtown Milwaukee.

On Thursday, March 12, connect with your peers in similar roles over breakfast and enjoy a networking happy hour plus food Thursday evening at the Third Street Market Hall.
