The Land and Water Conservation Fund not only affects Wisconsin. It impacts every state in our nation.
TIPS for contacting your policymakers.
- Tell them why the Land and Water Conservation is important to you. Give them a few reasons why having clean water and outdoor places are important to you, personally.
- Ask them to vote to reauthorize and protect the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
- Be concise, and polite. Remember that your elected officials hear from lots of people every day on all kinds of issues. To be persuasive -- share your passion, but be respectful.
