March 4 @ 6:30 pm

Baraboo Range Preservation Association invites you to join their 2026 Cabin Fever Lecture Series. All presentations start at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 6 pm, so come early to grab a cookie and chat.
Join the following events:
March 4: Enough About Casey – Not “all” but, enough about BRPA’s new Executive Director, Casey Jones; presented by the one who knows him best.
March 18: Glacial Lakes in the Baraboo Area – Eric Carson (Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey) will discuss the mechanisms that drove the formation and drainage of a series of glacial lakes in the Baraboo area at the peak of the last glaciation (~25,000 years ago), when ice from the northeast over-ran the eastern Baraboo Range and blocked the Wisconsin River’s southward flow.
April 1: An Arctic Adventure – Robert Rolley (BRPA Treasurer) and his wife, Karen Mesmer share their experiences and wildlife encounters kayaking among icebergs in Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland.
April 15: Community Conservation – Dr. Teri Allendorf will describe projects to protect biodiversity, including endangered species such as yellow-tailed woolly monkeys in Peru, orangutans in Malaysia, chimpanzees in Cameroon, and tigers in Nepal, among many others.
