You can help build a piece of history. The Ice Age Trail Alliance is building trail.  If you've never been involved in a trail building event, we encourage you to try it out!   You don't have to be experienced. There are certified trail building leaders who will guide and direct you as you build the trail. They will explain the nuances of trail building that allow people to use the trail while making sure the trail allows the nature around the trail to flourish. If you are looking to join a group that celebrates community and built-to-last camaraderie, consider joining the Ice Age Trail Mobile Skills Crew Trailing Building event. You'll learn about building trail tread, posting signage, creating stonework, and the importance of trail stewardship zones. There will be roles for all ages and abilities, so you can build trail as a family. The Ice Age Trail Alliance provides food, tools, and campsites free to all who volunteer.
