September 3 @ 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Join Baird Creek Preservation Foundation for a free evening of nature, birds, and community.
Come experience the beauty of the Paul Hartman Prairie and Morgan Woods, as well as the new wetland boardwalk on the north side of JJ, on a tour led by staff and board members through stunning landscapes. Enjoy the sounds of birdsong, the peaceful wetlands, and the scenic views along the trails, all while learning about the ecological work done on the property.
After the tour, settle in for a laid-back picnic at the gazebo. Bring your own lawn chair, snacks, drinks, and favorite picnic foods to enjoy as the sun sets over the prairie. Take in the evening’s tranquility, chat with neighbors, and watch the birds as they settle in for the night.
This is a free event for all ages. Please join for an evening of nature, community, and relaxation! RSVP here.
