Work with the Ice Age Trail Alliance to help restore and enhance habitat for Monarch Butterfly, Rusty Patched Bumble Bee, Karner Blue Butterfly, and Poweshiek Skipperling along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in central Wisconsin.
The Habitat Restoration Technician is a position working jointly with the Ice Age Trail Alliance and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. This full-time, long-term position (June 2025 – January 2027) is based in Cross Plains, Wisconsin, with workdays out of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife office near Portage, Wisconsin.
