Mississippi Valley Conservancy is seeking a Manager of Educational Outreach Programs for the oversight and implementation inclusive educational outreach programs and collaborating with partners to promote outdoor activities and conservation. Under the direction of the Executive Director, this role works closely with staff in all departments to develop, support, and offer engaging outdoor experiences, elevate communications, increase awareness of the community, and help advance conservation throughout the Driftless Area. The Program Manager will work with a range of partners to manage and expand the outreach and environmental education program and take the lead on programmatic fundraising through sponsorships and grant writing with support from the Development Associate and Executive Director.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position, working 20 hours per week. With the right candidate this position is expected to grow into a full-time outreach and communication position in the next 1.5 to 2 years.
Mississippi Valley Conservancy’s mission is to conserve native habitats and farmlands in the Driftless Area for the health and well-being of current and future generations.
