The Land Trust Alliance is seeking a National Coordinating Attorney (NCA) to play a critical role as part of the Alliance Risk Management Services LLC (ARMS) team responsible for managing and supporting Terrafirma Risk Retention Group LLC (conservation defense liability insurance). The NCA has oversight of and works closely with ARMS staff and related contractors, manages all claims for Terrafirma as well as the policy form and reserves, and collaborates with the conservation defense director to ensure the success of lasting conservation. The conservation defense and ARMS teams of experts work closely on the management of all aspects of national conservation defense services to ensure continuity, cross-training, communication of risk management, and other learning that advances long-term land protection.
