Support LWCF and Write a Note

Gibraltar Rock Ice Age Trail

Thank you for your interest in protecting our parks and natural areas.

We are looking for 900 Wisconsinites to write notes to our federal policymakers

The Land and Water Conservation Fund needs your help. It's due to expire on September 30, 2018.

Find the name of your Senator and House Representative.

The Land and Water Conservation Fund has invested more than $215 million in Wisconsin to give you fishing holes, wooded areas, prairies, wetlands, bike and hiking trails, and National and State parks.

Now it's time for us to invest in the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF).

Research shows a handwritten and signed letter is the most effective way to show--and tell--your policymakers what's important to you.

Write a short note. Tell them to "Vote Yes" to reauthorize and protect the Land and Water Conservation Fund on Senate Bills S. 569 and S. 896 and the House Bill H.R. 502.

And the best part, The Land and Water Conservation Fund is not related to your tax bill. The monies are generated through off-shore drilling fees.

It's easy to make a difference. Here are a few sample notes to get you started.
