Development Staff Member – Door County Land Trust

The Door County Land Trust is  offering a position as part of the trusted team who helps to engage members and enhances philanthropic support for the organization. The qualified candidate will support projects and programs related to the Land Trust’s membership program. The position requires attention to detail, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. A title for the job position will be selected based upon candidate qualifications. Candidates at all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

The actual position title is to be determined. This position will support the projects and programs related to the fundraising efforts of the Door County Land Trust. This position will implement the necessary administrative and project management activities to ensure that efforts to recruit new members, to retain existing members, and to move members towards higher level donations.

The position is located at the Door County Land Trust office in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. After 3 months of employment, some remote work may be possible.

Since 1986, the Door County Land Trust has worked to preserve, maintain, and enhance lands that contribute significantly to the scenic beauty, open space, and ecological integrity of northeast Wisconsin. The organization has worked with scores of landowners to protect more than 9,400 acres of fields, forests, farmlands, orchards, wetlands, and shoreline.
