Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation is seeking a full-time Director of Ecological Services based out of their state-of-the-art stewardship shop in Elizabeth, IL. The Director of Ecological Restoration (“the Director”) position is a full-time, permanent position responsible for ensuring the success of the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation’s (JDCF) ecological restoration programs on lands owned by JDCF, partner conservation organizations, and private landowners. This includes supervisory duties, program administration, and direct implementation of certain program areas.
This position is responsible for ensuring the success of JDCF’s ecological restoration programs on lands owned by JDCF, partner conservation organizations, and private landowners. This includes supervisory duties, program administration, and direct implementation of certain program areas. The position also includes the supervision of other Land Stewardship Program employees, including four to six permanent staff positions, and may occasionally also supervise temporary work crews and interns.

Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation works to preserve and steward land and water for the lasting well-being of all people and wildlife.
