Door County Land Trust (DCLT) closes out the calendar year by opening its 15th nature preserve and completing three more conservation projects. The projects include the addition of 77 acres within the Hibbard Creek Natural Area, 118 acres within the Oak Bluff Natural Area, and a conservation easement within the northern part of Door County.

“As stewards of the land, it is our duty to safeguard the delicate balance of nature. Preserving these habitats is not just a win for wildlife; it is an investment in the future, ensuring that generations to come can witness the beauty and biodiversity that thrives when a place is protected forever” explains Emily Wood who is DCLT’s Executive Director.
