April 26 @ 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Join Baird Creek Preservation Foundation for a bioblitz, which is part of the Earth Day Eco-Fair led by the Green Bay Conservation Corps. Make sure to enjoy the fair going on at the park at the same time! There will be food trucks, informational tables hosted by local organizations, and nature-themed activities for all ages.
Come at 10:00 am to join the experts going out on the trails at that time or stop by the bioblitz table to go out on your own between 10:00-3:00 pm, while also contributing to the Nature City Challenge.
What is a bioblitz?
A bioblitz is an intense period of biological surveying. During a bioblitz, scientists, naturalists, and volunteers work together to record all the living species within a designated area. The goal is to find and identify as many plants, animals, fungi, and other organisms as possible within a short time frame.
Who can participate?
Anyone with a phone and the Inaturalist app! All you need to do is take a photo and upload it on the app to contribute! Stop by the bioblitz table at the Earth Day fair to learn exactly what to do before you embark on your citizen science adventure!
This event is part of the City Nature Challenge, a worldwide event intended to engage people in observing the incredible biodiversity around us.
