Join Baird Creek Preservation Foundation for one or multiple pop up classes! This program is designed to connect parents or caregivers and their child (18 month-5 year olds) with nature in a safe environment within the Baird Creek Greenway. The Leader engages Explorers (children) and their Guide (parent or caregiver) in a one-hour lesson including but not limited to, opening circle time, guided play activities (getting dirty, singing, invitation to play ideas, learning about new animals, etc.). The program is designed for Explorers to develop creative mindsets and strategies they can use throughout their lives to invent new things, solve problems, express their ideas and feelings, and to nurture relationships, all through enriching, outdoor play!

The Nature Nectar pop-up is an invitation to activate one’s senses while mixing, mashing, and stirring natural ingredients together to create “nature nectar.” For more information on this event, please visit the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation’s event page.

Registration for this event is required and limited. There is a $10 fee per child per class. Each pop-up has two time slots to select from.

An event flyer for Baird Creek Little Explorers displays event details for three different classes.
