Baird Creek Preservation Foundation is excited to present Baird Creek Little Explorers! This program is designed to connect parents or caregivers and their child (18 month-5 year old) with nature in a safe environment within the Baird Creek Greenway.

Baird Creek Little Explirers is a once-a-week, one-hour program facilitated by a Leader of Tinkergarten Curriculum. The Leader engages Explorers (children) and their Guide (parent or caregiver) in a one-hour lesson including but not limited to, opening circle time, guided play activities (getting dirty, singing, invitation to play ideas, learning about new animals, etc.). The program is designed for Explorers to develop creative mindsets and strategies they can use throughout their lives to invent new things, solve problems, express their ideas and feelings, and to nurture relationships. We’ll do it all through enriching, outdoor play!

There will be a FREE intro class on Tuesday, April 9th from 9-10am OR 10-11am. Caregivers can attend this class with their Little Explorer, then after this introductory course, participants will be given the opportunity to sign up for the 6-week spring session ($60 per child)!

Registration for this event is required. To register and to find more information on this event, including what the spring sessions entail, please visit the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation’s event website.
