Due to forecasted subzero temperatures and windchills on January 24, this event was rescheduled for February 7 – same time and location.
Bring your friends and family for a magical adventure in the Northwoods! Candlelit luminaries will guide your way along a one-mile loop, groomed for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Participants are encouraged to grab a bite to eat or a beverage after their hike and enjoy a bonfire!
In collaboration with the Friends of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau, this year’s candlelight event is part of Dark Sky, Bright Stars, a nine day celebration highlighting the importance of dark sky preservation while showcasing the breathtaking clarity of Bayfield’s winter skies.
