August 20, 2023 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Take your appreciation for nature to a new level by learning the wonders of forest bathing.
Forest bathing involves using all your senses to take in your surroundings. From the smell of the soil to the texture of the tree bark, come and experience Hunner Preserve with a rejuvenating, mindful hike.
This event will be guided by Brooke Gilley, a certified forest bathing guide with the Nádúr Centre for Integrative Forest Therapy and a park naturalist.
Come along and remember to dress for the weather – hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent are good to have along. Also, there is no bathroom access on the preserve.
This is an adults only event.
FREE to GLC members, or $10 for non-members. Please bring cash to the event.
