Using insect sweep nets, magnifying glasses, and insect and wildflower field guides, discover the insect life at Oak Road Nature Preserve that is often unnoticed.
Participants will walk along a 1 ½ mile fairly level trail through prairie and wetlands. Bring hats, sunscreen, insect repellent, and water.
This event is free and open to the public. Families welcome! Recommended ages 8+. All kids attending will receive a free nature journal and outdoor activity kit at the completion of the adventure.
