Seno K/RLT Conservancy is hosting a maple sugaring program for the fifth year in a row! Learn the traditions of maple sugaring that have been part of Wisconsin’s history for many centuries.
This program focuses on the process of making maple syrup and the rich Native American history behind this tradition. Participants will learn tree identification, how to properly tap a maple tree, the process of sap-to-syrup, and the traditional sugaring techniques, ending with storytelling around a fire.
Registration is $5/child under 13 and $7/adult to help cover equipment and material costs.
