Join avid hiker and outdoorsman Carl Bennett and Baird Creek Preservation Foundation Board President Charlie Frisk to learn about the Early European, Native American, and modern techniques of collecting sap and making maple syrup before enjoying a pancake and other sweet treat!

Carl has been involved in the syrup making process for a few years now and wants to share his knowledge and techniques he has learned along the way. Take a look at sugar maples in the Baird Creek Greenway while discussing different techniques and the history of tapping. No hiking required.
