September 7 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Led by Rebecca Jabs, join Glacial Lakes Conservancy to improve your appreciation of different species through field sketching, the practice of drawing and note-taking in response to nature.
Following an introduction to the activity, participants will look for inspiration in the surrounding natural areas and record observations through sketching and note-taking. Supplies will be provided for the workshop, but please bring a pencil and your favorite sketchbook if you have one (if not, there will be extra paper provided).
It is highly recommended to bring a foldable camp chair. Other good things to have along are a hat and a water bottle. Water refills, snacks, sunscreen, and insect repellent will be provided. Please note there is no bathroom access.
This event is free for Glacial Lakes Conservancy members and $10 for non-members. Please bring cash to the event. Email miriam@glaciallakes.org to RSVP. The event capacity is 30 people.
