Look for inspiration in the surrounding natural areas and record observations through sketching and note-taking.

Field sketching, also known as nature journaling, is the practice of drawing and note-taking in response to nature. Supplies will be provided for the workshop, but please bring a pencil and a sketchbook (if you do not have those materials, there will be extra paper).

The event will take place at the privately owned Manitou Maples conservation easement and will be led by Manitowoc artist, Rebecca Jabs.

It is highly recommended to bring a foldable camp chair. Other good things to have along are a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and insect repellent! Water refills and snacks will be provided. Also, there is no bathroom access.

This is an adults only event.

FREE to GLC members, or $10 for non-members. Please bring cash to the event.
