Enjoy the beauty of the La Crosse blufflands while learning about the essential roles of the wildflowers and pollinators that thrive there.

From the County Road FA trailhead, participants will enjoy an easy hike out onto one of the northernmost sections of the beautiful La Crosse Blufflands. Along this trail, hikers will see rock outcroppings, blufftop prairies, and the remains of a rock quarry. Hikers may also see migrating songbirds, eagles, falcons, and mammals such as mice, rabbits, fox, coyotes, and deer.

This site’s 477 acres offer scenic vistas and almost 5 miles of hiking trails.

With limited parking space, carpooling is recommended.
