January 25 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join the Baird Creek Preservation Foundation for this family-friendly, educational hike.
Professor Mike Draney, Biology Professor at UWGB will lead this winter hike and explain why winter is such a difficult time for plants and animals and the adaptations they have developed to survive it.
During the hike you will look for the subtle signs of life during the cold half of the year. Be sure to dress for the weather and be prepared to encounter a few hills and unpaved trails. Depending on conditions, hiking spikes are recommended.
This event is free and pre-registration is required. All ages welcome! Register here.
