Join Baird Creek Preservation Foundation and Professor Mike Draney, Biology Professor at UWGB, at Christa McAuliffe Park to walk and talk about why winter is such a difficult time for plants and animals. See some of the amazing adaptations Wisconsin species have to deal with winter conditions. During the hike, you will look for the subtle signs of life during the cold half of the year.

Be sure to dress for the cold weather and be prepared to encounter a few hills and unpaved trails. Depending on conditions, hiking spikes for your boots are recommended.

This is a family-friendly event, and you must register.

$5 per person, BCPF members are FREE. Register here.
