Giving Tuesday 2022: You Met the Match!

Close-up of a pine tree branch with ice blue berries and text that reads "Giving Tuesday - Thank you for supporting land conservation."

Your generosity is overwhelming! We are so thankful for friends who supported land conservation on Giving Tuesday, the world’s day of giving. It takes all of us doing our part to help. Land protection cannot happen without people like you who invest in the land and the efforts to protect it!

We tallied the numbers after Giving Tuesday, and individual donations for conservation totaled $11,750.18. Plus, we had a matching grant, which matched all donations received up to $10,000, so our grand total raised was $21,750.18!

Thank you to those of you who support us regularly and those who rejoined us on Giving Tuesday.

And a hearty welcome to the new friends who joined us for the first time! We are grateful for your support.

We would also like to recognize Kay and Richard Yuspeh for providing this year’s $10,000 Matching Challenge Grant. Thank you for helping make Giving Tuesday a success!

As promised, the name of each person who donated yesterday was entered into a drawing for one of five YETI tumblers. The winners of the random drawing are:

  • Bill M.
  • Ed H.
  • Christine K.
  • Renee K.
  • Cavan F.

We are in the process of notifying the winners and delivering their tumblers.

Thank you all again for taking part in the Giving Tuesday Matching Challenge! We are so grateful for each and every one of you.

Wisconsin’s land, water, and wildlife depend on the support of people like you — and this year, you proved how much you care!
