Kurtz Woods in the Town of Grafton is the first forest in Ozaukee County to be named to the Old-Growth Forest Network. The 45-acre preserve is owned and managed by Ozaukee-Washington Land Trust.

The Old-Growth Forest Network works to create a national network of protected, publicly accessible forests. The goal is to have at least one in every county in the U.S.
