Tall Pines Conservancy has a mission to curb the loss of sustainable working farmland. According to the American Farmland Trust, over 515,000 acres of Wisconsin farmland will be lost by 2040 as the land is paved over, fragmented, or converted for other purposes. Tall Pines is working to prevent that from happening.
