During this visit to one of Northwoods Land Trust’s newest properties, investigate plants that thrive in a unique wetland type called a bog.
Participants will walk the trails for around 1 mile, stopping to discuss the bog wetland on the over 1000 feet of shoreline at Tower Nibiiwan Conservation Area.
There is a boardwalk over the bog, but if participants would like to step onto the bog mat, it is recommended to have rubber boots or other footwear that can get wet.
Space is limited for this free event. Pre-registration is requested by Monday, August 14. Register here.
