Hikers headed to Milton will find a new boardwalk along the Storrs Lake Segment of the Ice Age Trail. The boardwalk extends for about one mile, connecting with existing trail that winds through woodlands and wetlands. This enhancement helps with a section of trail that was often underwater.
Volunteers helped the Ice Age Trail Alliance construct the boardwalk this summer during a Mobile Skills Crew outing from June 21-24, 2023.
