Rice Lake Celebrates Ice Age Trail Community Designation

The Ice Age Trail Alliance (IATA) gathered with Rice Lake officials and members of the public for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 28 to celebrate Rice Lake’s designation as the 23rd Ice Age Trail Community.

“Rice Lake is the first community in Barron County to be officially designated as a Trail Community,” said Luke Kloberdanz, Executive Director and CEO of the Ice Age Trail Alliance. “It fills a nice gap along the Trail.”

The closest Ice Age Trail Communities are nearly an hour away.
